Sculptural satirist, Russell Biles creates tongue and cheek porcelain pieces that pay tribute to the foibles and follies of society’s social issues. Russell meticulously crafts each porcelain piece ranging in size from a few inches to several feet. We are proud to represent Russell Biles, who is a very important artist on the forefront of avant-garde narrative in the ceramics medium.
Congratulations to Russell for his recent Grant Award from the South Carolina Arts Commission and look forward to showcasing more of your work in the upcoming Contradictions exhibition opening Saturday, October First and on exhibit September 24—November 5, 2011 (additional information here).
