Mindy Solomon Gallery at SOFA Chicago

Mindy Solomon Gallery returned to Chicago earlier this month for the SOFA CHICAGO Art Fair. The display this year featured diversity in the application of ceramic material as a sculptural medium. From traditional methodologies such as Korean Buncheong and wood firing, to the bold use of abstract color in creating three-dimensional paintings, all forms give a nod to history and a visual welcome to contemporary art. Artists included Korean ceramicists Kang Hyo Lee and Minkyu Lee; American sculptors David Peters and Josh DeWeese; German maker Elke Sada, and Canadian-born Yolande Clark.
