Gallery Artist Gregorio Peño received Honorable Mention in the International Ceramic Competition in Mino, Japan and is featured in the ‘New Talent’ category of the European Ceramic Context in Bornholm, Denmark.
The International Ceramic Competition aims to promote the further development of ceramic industry and culture through international exchanges of ceramic designs and culture. Outstanding works that suggest innovative ideas and explore the future of ceramics coming from all over Japan and the world will be displayed together.
The European Ceramic Context 2014, part of a biennial symposium for contemporary glass and ceramics, is motivated by a desire to promote the disciplines and trades of glass and ceramic art at European and global levels.
